1.Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "your" or "User") and Shaadi Hub ("we", "us", "our" or "the Platform"), the operator of the website and mobile application located at www.shaadihub.co.uk (the "Service"). The Service is an online marketplace that helps people planning weddings and events discover, compare and contact suppliers of wedding venues and other wedding products and services — including catering, stages and décor, DJs and dhol players, photography and videography, hair and beauty, bridal and groom wear, jewellery, florists, wedding cars, invitations and cards, ritual services, choreographers and gifts (each a "Provider"). ShaadiHub is a trading name of Shaadi Hub Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
By accessing, browsing or using the Service in any way — including creating an account, listing a venue or service, sending an enquiry, or making a booking — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.
2.Definitions
Booking means any reservation, hire or engagement arranged between a Customer and a Provider, whether or not made through the Service.
Content means all text, photographs, images, reviews, listings and other materials uploaded or posted to the Service by a User.
Customer means a User who uses the Service to search for, contact or book a Provider.
Vendor means a User who lists a venue or service on the Service.
Provider means any Vendor offering goods or services through the Service.
Membership means the paid plan (monthly or yearly) offered to Vendors for their listing category, as described on the Membership page.
3.Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms apply to every User. By using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood and accept them. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.
We may offer specific terms, policies or guidelines for particular features (for example, Vendor Membership or payment terms). Those additional terms are incorporated into these Terms by reference. In the event of a conflict, the more specific terms prevail for that feature.
4.Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, list a service or make a booking through the Service. By creating an account you represent that you are 18 or over and legally able to enter into contracts.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when registering, to keep your account credentials confidential and secure, and to be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We may suspend or close any account that is inactive, inaccurate or suspected of misuse.
5.Our role as a marketplace
Shaadi Hub is an introductions platform and marketplace intermediary only. We are not a party to any contract between a Customer and a Provider, and we do not own, operate, control, employ, manage or insure any venue or other business listed on the Service.
Any booking, hire or engagement is a contract directly between you and the Provider. The Provider is solely responsible for delivering the goods or services, and for the quality, safety, legality and fitness for purpose of what they provide. We are not responsible for a Provider's acts, omissions, availability, solvency or conduct.
We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, available or suitable, or that any Provider will accept an enquiry or fulfil a booking. You use the Service at your own risk.
6.Listings & accuracy
Vendors are responsible for ensuring that every listing and all Content is accurate, complete, not misleading and lawfully publishable. Vendors must hold all licences, permissions, consents, insurance and certificates required to offer the listed venue or service, including (where applicable) public liability insurance, food hygiene certification, premises licences, performing-rights licences and noise/entertainment licences.
We may, at our discretion and without notice, review, edit, reject, remove, hide or re-order any listing, and we are under no obligation to explain our reasons. We do not, however, routinely verify listings and are not responsible for their accuracy.
ID-Verified badge. Some Vendors display a "Verified" badge, which indicates that we have carried out an identity check on that Vendor (which may include automated checks). The badge confirms identity verification only — it is not an endorsement, warranty or guarantee of a Vendor's listing accuracy, quality, service, insurance, availability or financial standing, and you should still carry out your own checks before booking. We may grant or remove the badge at any time, and we accept no liability for relying on it.
7.Enquiries, bookings & contracts with providers
The Service allows Customers to send enquiries and booking requests to Providers. Submitting an enquiry or request does not itself create a binding contract. A binding contract for the supply of a venue or service is formed only between the Customer and the Provider, on the terms agreed directly between them (including price, date, duration, guest numbers, deposits, cancellation and payment terms).
Customers should confirm all material terms in writing, request and review contracts and, where relevant, ensure the Provider holds suitable insurance and certifications before paying any deposit. Any quoted price, availability or feature shown on the Service is indicative only and may change; the binding price is the one agreed with the Provider.
8.Payments & subscriptions
Payments to Providers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, amounts payable for bookings are paid directly to the relevant Provider on terms agreed between the Customer and that Provider, and we are not a party to any payment arrangement between Customers and Providers.
Payments taken through the Service. Some payments are collected through the Service — for example refundable viewing deposits, booking deposits set by a Vendor, and florist packages ordered online. Where a payment is taken through the Service, it is processed by Base44 Payments on the Provider's behalf. Any remaining balance is payable directly to the Provider, and cancellations and refunds of amounts paid through the Service are handled by the Provider under the terms agreed with you.
Vendor Membership. Vendors may purchase a Membership plan (monthly or yearly) for their listing category. Prices vary by category and the price you will pay is shown at checkout before you are charged. Memberships are billed through our payment provider, Base44 Payments.
Free trial. Each Membership starts with a free trial period (currently 14 days), during which you are not charged. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid subscription begins automatically when the trial ends and the recurring fee is charged until you cancel. You can cancel at any time — including during the trial — at no cost. The free trial is a contractual benefit we offer and is separate from any statutory right to cancel.
Business purchases & your right to cancel. Memberships are supplied to Vendors acting in the course of their trade or business. As these are business-to-business supplies, the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013 does not apply to a Membership purchased by a Vendor acting as a business. If you purchase a Membership wholly outside your trade or business (so that those Regulations apply to you), you may cancel within 14 days of the date the contract is formed; where the service has begun, with your express consent, during that period, you may be charged a proportionate amount for the service provided up to the point you cancel.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid. Access to Membership features continues until the end of the paid period.
When a free trial or Membership ends without an active subscription, your listings are hidden from the marketplace. They are kept safely on your account — never deleted — and automatically become visible again the moment you subscribe. We may adjust trial lengths, categories and plan features as the Service evolves.
You authorise us to bill the payment method on file and agree to keep it valid. Prices may change on reasonable notice; a price change takes effect from the next renewal after the notice.
Promotional discounts. From time to time we may offer promotional or discount codes (including vendor launch offers). These offers are discretionary, may be limited to selected plans or categories, and can be stopped, withdrawn or expired at any time and without notice — most commonly at midnight (UK time) on the advertised or intended end date. A discount code applied at checkout is only valid if the offer is still live when the payment is taken; we accept no obligation to honour an offer after it has expired.
9.Vendor obligations
Vendors agree to: (a) provide accurate and up-to-date listings and availability; (b) respond to enquiries and booking requests promptly and in good faith; (c) honour confirmed bookings and agreed prices; (d) deliver the listed service with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with all applicable laws; (e) hold and maintain all required insurance, licences and certifications; (f) not charge Customers more than the amount agreed; and (g) comply with all consumer-protection, anti-discrimination, data-protection and safety laws.
Vendors are solely responsible for their taxes, accounts, employees and contractors, and for any content they publish. Vendors indemnify us for claims arising from their listings or services (see Indemnity below).
10.Customer obligations
Customers agree to: (a) provide accurate enquiry and booking information; (b) use the Service lawfully and respectfully; (c) deal honestly with Providers; (d) pay amounts due to Providers as agreed; (e) take reasonable care of any venue or equipment hired; and (f) comply with the venue or Provider's rules, including noise curfews, capacity limits and alcohol/catering policies.
11.Cancellations, refunds & rescheduling
Cancellation and refund terms for bookings are set by the Provider and agreed between the Customer and the Provider. We have no control over, and accept no liability for, a Provider's cancellation, no-show, non-delivery, or refund policy. If a dispute arises, we may, as a courtesy, help facilitate communication but we will not adjudicate or guarantee an outcome.
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend the Service, any listing, or any account at any time, including for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or to comply with law. Where a Membership is cancelled by us for our own breach, you may be entitled to a pro-rata refund at our discretion.
12.Reviews & ratings
Users may submit reviews of Providers. Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and free from defamation, abuse, discrimination, confidential information or commercial bias. We may remove or moderate reviews that breach these Terms, that are false or misleading, or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, abusive or unlawful.
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce and distribute your reviews in connection with the Service. You must not offer or accept payment or incentives in exchange for reviews.
13.Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose; (b) misrepresent your identity, capacity or affiliation; (c) post false, misleading, defamatory or infringing Content; (d) scrape, copy, harvest or attempt to access data in an unauthorised way; (e) introduce viruses, malware or harmful code; (f) interfere with the proper functioning or security of the Service; (g) circumvent any fees or payment systems; (h) discriminate against, harass, threaten or harm any person; or (i) use the Service to market competing services or to solicit Users off-platform without our consent.
14.Intellectual property
The Service, its design, logos, branding, software and compiled content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or create derivative works from them except to the extent necessary to use the Service as permitted by these Terms.
By posting Content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to host, use, display, reproduce, adapt and distribute that Content for the purpose of operating, promoting and improving the Service. You confirm that you own or have the rights to all Content you post and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
15.Data protection & privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. By using the Service you consent to that processing. Users act as independent data controllers for any personal data they collect through enquiries and bookings, and are responsible for complying with data-protection law in respect of that data.
16.Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions, representations and terms (whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise) relating to the Service, including as to satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy or reliability.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free from harmful components, or that any listing, review, Provider or booking will be as described or will complete successfully. Statements made by Providers or other Users are theirs alone and not ours.
17.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, data, goodwill, anticipation or savings, arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute or otherwise.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of: (a) the total amount you have paid us (for example, Membership fees) in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) £100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Because we are not a party to any contract between Customers and Providers, we accept no liability for a Provider's acts or omissions, for the performance of any booking, or for any loss arising from a booking or enquiry. Customers and Providers contract with each other at their own risk.
18.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Shaadi Hub and its officers, employees, agents and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your Content, listings, reviews or conduct; (d) any booking, contract or transaction you enter into through the Service; or (e) your infringement of any third-party rights or any law.
19.Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, remove listings, or disable accounts at any time, with or without cause or notice, including where we believe you have breached these Terms or the law. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
On termination, all licences granted to you end, but provisions that by their nature should survive (including those on intellectual property, indemnity, limitation of liability and governing law) will continue to apply.
20.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the updated version and effective date at the top of this page. Where we consider changes material, we will use reasonable efforts to notify active Users. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Service.
21.Third-party links & services
The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, payment providers and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or conduct, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
Honeymoon & travel services. Our Honeymoon section links to travel search tools operated by our partner, AI Trip Scan (aitripscan.com), and its suppliers. Any flight, hotel, transfer, car rental, eSIM or experience search or booking you make through those links is made directly with AI Trip Scan or the relevant third-party supplier, and is governed exclusively by their terms, prices and cancellation policies. We are not a party to any travel booking and accept no liability for prices shown, availability, bookings, payments, or the performance or cancellation of any travel product or service.
Affiliate disclosure. We may earn a commission from AI Trip Scan or its suppliers when you search or book through the links in our Honeymoon section. This commission is paid by the partner and does not increase the price you pay. Our inclusion of or links to any travel partner or product is not an endorsement or guarantee of its quality, suitability or availability, and you should carry out your own checks before booking.
22.Complaints & disputes
If you have a complaint about the Service, please contact us using the details below. We will aim to acknowledge and respond to complaints in a reasonable timeframe. Disputes between Customers and Providers should be raised directly with the Provider; we may help facilitate communication but will not act as adjudicator.
These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law. If anything in these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in full force.
23.Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales, regardless of where you live or use the Service. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that we may bring proceedings to enforce our intellectual-property rights in any jurisdiction.
24.Contact
These Terms are published by Shaadi Hub. For any questions or complaints about these Terms or the Service, please contact us at support@shaadihub.co.uk or through the contact details provided in your account.
